The sand is nice up the the waters edge and then it turns pebbly. While it is located next to the city water treatment plant...I will say it is a nice beach with lots of space for tossing a ball...setting up volleyball or badminton nets and still enough room to lay out on a blanket. There is a boat launch with minimal parking for trailers. Back to the treatment plant -on occasion with the right breeze you may smell the plant...but it is rare. Awesome sunsets

Dog friendly, well maintained stretch of beach. Was a little bit flooded in one area and did not appear to have dedicated lifeguards. Good place to play some beach volleyball as there are a few dedicated posts to put up some nets. Free parking!

This is a nice beach and is well maintained, in season, by the city. There are public, accessible washrooms open in the warmer months and porta potties there in the off season. If the water level in the lake is at normal levels you can walk a considerable distance along the shore. There is parking available in a paved lot, adjacent to the beach. There is also a wooded park with a kids play structure behind the beach area.

The most underrated hidden gem of Niagara and the Golden horseshoe. Perfect sunsets on the water, one of the few beaches that do. Longer beach and cleaner water than Port Dalhousie. Beautiful wooded areas around, and less people for the most part. If everyone in Toronto knew about this place it would be ruined in minutes.

Amazing sunset every night. Great summer destination for anybody who enjoys a nice beach. Only issue is it’s a tad small so it gets crowded and when it’s busy it can be impossible to park
