The walk along the Seawall is a beautiful view of the harbor area, the marinas, and as you go along you pass restaurants, the Olympic rings, the Canada Center, and many of the sites of Vancouver. It is a great way to view the city. Would recommend going around the sea wall my bike. Bike hire is reasonably cheap from bike hire shops just up from English bay. Plenty places to stop to take pictures and have a snack, would recommend
I walked the whole sea wall with my fam. And it was awesome. Even got to see some crabs on the beach. It was very nice experience. Very different from the Red River trail that's for sure. I would definitely come back here, really like how they have a part for the bikers and the walkers. Very nice touch to the side walks.
Amazing for a run or stroll. There were tons of signs so I didn’t worry getting lost even without using google maps. Wasn’t too busy in the morning around 7.
The seawall is a must if you are visiting Vancouver. It's a wonderful way to see the sites and sounds of downtown, unencumbered by street traffic. There is a lane for walkers, and a lane for bikers and skaters, so you can coexist in harmony at your own pace. Taking the route from Coal Harbor all the way around to False Creek is about 10K (if you want to get in a good cardio), and there’s restaurants and shops along the way to stop at. Or if you get tired, you can always cut through Stanley Park. There’s access to the water and beaches along the trail, and Sea bus stops if you choose to take a break. It does get busy during cruise season when there are many tourists biking and strolling along the trail, but it’s still the best way to see the city!
A lovely walk around vancouer Harbour. Lots of interesting information boards
