This is the center of Canadian government and the most historic and beautiful spot in Ottawa. At any time of the year it is must see while visiting Ottawa or downtown. It is popular with tourists and locals alike. Start at the eternal flame adorned with each provinces crest, take in the views of parliament and tour the buildings when open to the public. Walk behind to see the original library and scenic views of the river and Hull, Quebec. In the summer and Christmas time it hosts a nightly light show teaching Canadian history projected onto the building. Please enjoy our Canadian treasure.

A must see every time you visit. Tulips, tourists and history. The kiddos loved every minute and even got to watch the howitzers 21 guns salute. They had to cover their ears but it was an awesome Victoria Day weekend. Crowd was minimal and it felt safe the entire time. We were lucky the weather was in our favor that day.

Nice place. Lots of beautiful buildings nearby. There are so many things to do nearby. The walk along the park is equally beautiful. There are so many places to take great pictures. Be ready to walk a lot and spend a lot of quality time. You can see the Quebec border as well on the other side of the river.

Even though I missed my appointment time by 10 minutes, I was informed that I can inquire about another time next hour. I immediately made a reservation and was able to reach there in time, had a great time learning about the process about how Canadian laws are made. The tour lasted for about 40 minutes. It was an amazing experience which I will never forget and will cherish for the rest of my live. The staff were great to deal with.

If you love history, art, landscapes, serenity and so on, Parliament Hill is a must visit place. The building is so beautiful, every intricate detail is an amazing workmanship. The view is so spectacular, one gets mesmerized by the eye catching landscape that carries its own value. There are various activities hosted on the Parliament Hill on a regular basis. For example, on every Wednesday afternoon, people practice yoga. This starts as soon as the winter ends and the ground is clear from snow, as well as the surface of the earth is dry. And, again it ends with the beginning of the winter season, that is as soon as the first snow falls. That being said, at this point in time there are renovations going on. Yet, the public are allowed to visit this gorgeous place and gaze on its beauty. The First of July is observed as Canada. This is a public holiday in Canada. People from all over the world come to celebrate this joyous day with the Canadians. The best part of all the celebration on this day is the fireworks. This is one thing every person likes to watch. There is a lot more than I can write with my words here. Please do visit and enjoy. God bless Canada!
